Jean Ketcham – Aging But Dangerous

The Not Old Better Show Interview Series

Welcome to The Not Old Better Show, episode #513.  I’m Paul Vogelzang, and today’s show is brought to you by Hello Fresh and Care/Of Vitamins.

As part of our Art of Living “doers” series, today’s guest is just a breath of fresh air.  Jean Ketcham, our guest today, is the founder of the wonderful, wry, and exciting website, Aging But Dangerous.  People from all over the world are listening to Jean, and at 81, Jean is enjoying life, has excellent advice, and is having fun with her role as a healthy observer of culture and life.

Oh, she is great!  That of course is our guest today, Jean Ketcham, founder of the website, Aging But Dangerous.

Before we bring Jean on, let me introduce her a bit with some fascinating background.  Jean Ketcham is a former small business owner and talk show host. She is also a proud parent, an avid skydiver, and a cancer survivor. To put it mildly, Jean is up to any challenge. After retiring, Jean discovered that 55+ women among our Not Old Better Show audience were not living up to their true potential. Their social circles were shrinking and their lifestyles were becoming less stimulating and less adventurous. That’s how Aging But Dangerous® was born 12 years ago. Today, Jean is 81 years old and convinced that aging can be so exciting and fun. From sky diving events to local chapters, fashion shows, and retreats, we continue to create opportunities for women to connect and empower each other. Let’s do it!  Please join me in welcoming to The Not Old Better Show, CEO and founder of Aging But Dangerous, Jean Ketcham.

My thanks to Jean Ketcham, founder of Aging But Dangerous.  My thanks to Hello Fresh and Care/Of for sponsoring the show today, and please check out our show notes for great offers from Hello Fresh and Care/Of to support our sponsors.  My thanks, of course, to you, my wonderful Not Old Better Show audience.  I hope you’re in line for the vaccine, practicing smart social distancing, staying safe and healthy, and talking about better.  The Not Old Better Show.  Thanks, everybody.  And, don’t miss our next episode with Candoo Technology founder, Liz Hamburg.  If you have electronics, including Alexa, you won’t want to miss this interview!
