Active Aging Week – Colin Milner, Founder
The Not Old Better Show, Fitness Friday Interview Series
Welcome to The Not Old Better Show. I’m Paul Vogelzang and this is episode #484.

As part of our Fitness Friday Healthy Living Interview Series, our guest today is Colin Milner.

Colin Milner is CEO of the International Council on Active Aging and the founder of the active-aging industry in North America. Colin Milner, who’s been a popular guest on The Not Old Better Show previously, is back to talk to us about Active Aging Week. Active Aging Week is coming up and we have links in our show notes about it, as well as links to the Active Aging Week website, where you’ll find a zip code locater tool to zero in on events nearby. But, not worry, there are virtual events, too. Of course, there are. In an era of COVID, we can participate in Active Aging Week virtually, and Colin Milner will tell us all about that.

Many of you in our Not Old Better Show audience will know all about Colin Milner and his work at the organization he founded, the International Council on Active Aging. Colin Milner is also a leading authority on the health and well-being of older adults. The World Economic Forum’s Network of Global Agenda Councils recognized him as one of “the most innovative and influential minds” in the world on aging-related topics.

An award-winning writer, Milner has authored more than 300 articles, and we’re so fortunate for his time today. Please join me in welcoming to The Not Old Better Show via internet phone, Colin Milner.

My thanks to Colin Milner, CEO of the International Council on Active Aging and the founder of the active-aging industry in North America. Remember Active Aging Week is coming up Oct 5, and thank you, Colin, for your work, and willingness to join us today. My thanks to you, our wonderful Not Old Better Show audience. Remember, stay safe everyone, practice smart social distancing, and Talk About Better. The Not Old Better Show. Thanks, everybody.
