I’m very sad about the death of author, Pat Conroy (“Prince of Tides,” “My Losing Season,” and of course, “The Great Santini.”

I grew up reading all his books, loving them, and learning a lot about life. Especially life in a military family, like mine. I have personal signed, first editions, “Advance Readers Copies,” of most, a signed letter to me from Mr. Conroy, via the Beaufort Chamber of Commerce about “charming Beaufort, please come for a visit,” and am proud to have everything now, bust sad I didn’t take him up on it. 2 of my favs in photo below.
