New Technology for Our Lives…
Welcome to The Not Old Better Show. I’m Paul Vogelzang and this is episode #339. Today’s show is brought to you by Loved1 @ giveloved1.com
Today’s show is part of our new technology series, and we’re going to be talking about staying connected to loved ones, using the Loved1 service.
We all know how valuable it is to stay in touch with those of us in the Not Old Better Show audience how are on the ‘Older” side, age wise.
Isolation is more than just a tough circumstance. Isolation leads to depression, leading to health conditions worsening and many other difficult outcomes.
Staying connected is vital. Staying connected to the social environment, the world, and particularly family gives loved ones an incredible strength.
We all want to feel connected and have a sense of feeling cherished and valued by the people we care about.
The idea to provide items that improve our loved one’s quality of life, their wellness, their health, has an enormous benefit from an emotional standpoint, as well as a physical standpoint.
Of course, we feel this way about loved ones. I feel this way about my own mom, who lives 3000 miles away, but I want her to feel connected and to live well. I’ve mentioned my mom previously, and today I’m going to talk to my mom about the Loved1 box that is delivered to her, sent by me, living in Virginia to her in California.
This is a nice show, one you’ll enjoy, and hopefully, think about, and think about how best to connect with your family, your loved ones.
My mom is a published author, a former byline with the McClatchy newspapers in California, is almost 90, and is very special to me. You’ll hear from my mom that she loves the loved1 box. Less than a day after our interview my mom sent me an email saying she’d forgotten to mention that the box is so sturdy and attractive she even uses it for storage. True testimony, and so thorough from my mom the journalist, so please welcome my mom, VJ Vogelzang to the Not Old Better Show.
